How To Migrate A WordPress Site Using GoDaddy Managed WordPress

I’ve written at length about how tools like WordPress and GoDaddy Managed WordPress can help save time, money and help companies gain efficiencies.
Especially WordPress Design and Development companies.
Case in point, I was just slacking one of our WordPress Developers about migrating a site from a cPANEL account to a Managed WordPress account to go live for a client.
He was developing it on a shared cPANEL, but we had sold webhosting services at the Managed WordPress level.
As I was getting ready to task him to do it, something that maybe would have taken 30 minutes to an hour of work and communication, I realized that GoDaddy Managed WordPress has a built in migration tool that allows a non-technical marketer or business owner to simply type in the WordPress admin credentials of one site and install a copy over into the GoDaddy Managed WordPress server.
It’s pretty amazing, and it does not exist with WPEngine, and it costs $200 extra for the same equivalent in Bluehost.
Kudos to GoDaddy for this feature. Here’s how it works.
